Bigodi Wetland

The Bigodi Wetland is located in western Uganda, near Kibale National Park, and is known as a protected wetland with exceptionally rich biodiversity. It is home to over 200 bird species, including the rare Great Blue Turaco, as well as various monkeys, otters, and other wildlife. The area is managed by the local community, which offers eco-tours and guided walks along specially constructed boardwalks, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the unique natural environment.
