Pubol Castle, located in Pubol in Catalonia, is a medieval building in which the enormous creative efforts of world-renowned artist Salvador Dali were focused on one person, his wife Gala, in order to provide her with a unique sanctuary and resting place. Dali buys her a castle at Gala, where she spends every summer. After the death of his wife in 1982, Dalí moved to live in a castle. In 1996, the private castle of Gala in Pubol was opened to the public as the Museum of the Castle "Gala-Dali".
