Durrës is a cave chain of 4 underground caves on the island of Palma de Mallorca. They were first mentioned in a letter from 1338. The depth of the caves is 24 meters, and their depth is 4 km. Scientists believe that the caves date back to the Miocene era. The caves are known for the underground lake - Martel, with a depth between 4 and 12 m. The name of the lake comes from the French explorer Edouard-Alfred Martel. It is also home to the largest caves, as well as one of the most visited attractions on the island.
