Navarino Square is located in the center of the city of Thessaloniki, near the university - "Aristotle" and other institutions in the city. The name of the square derives from the naval battle for the independence of Greece in 1827.

People can see the remains of the Roman palace of Emperor Galerius, also nearby to the Navarino Square is the Byzantine Church of "Saint Sophia", built on the model of "Saint Sophia" in Constantinople.

The symbolism and central position of the square make Navarino an ideal place for walks and meetings
