Плоштадот на хероите

Будимпешта, Унгарија

Heroes' Square is the largest and one of the most beautiful in the Danube capital. It was built in honor of the 1000th anniversary of the Hungarian state in 1896. On the central pillar is a sculpture of the archangel Gabriel, who, according to legend, appeared and gave the crown to the first Hungarian king, Saint Stephen, the founder of the state. Here are also the statues of the 7 leaders who were brought by the local residents to the Hungarian lands.
