Sidari is located on the north coast of the island of Corfu with a population of about 40,000 inhabitants. It is located 36 km. from the capital city of Kerkyra. With its many hotels, shops, restaurants and taverns, Sidari is one of the main tourist centers of the island. The wonderful sandy beaches are also popular.
To the west along the coast is known the Channel of Love, the rocks that form the channel have been shaped by the wind erosion. An attraction for tourists is the walk in the caves, which are located along the canal. There are many legends about the name of the "Channel of Love", one of which says that lovers who sail from one end to the other will always be together.
