Stradun Street, also called the Square, is the main street of Dubrovnik. On it you can find many shops and restaurants. The buildings have a uniform architecture reminiscent of Venice and are built of stone. All buildings are of the same height, with the exception of the clock tower from the 15th century (31 meters). In its present form, the street was built after a major earthquake in 1667, when soon all the old buildings along it were destroyed, with the exception of the church of St. Spas" and palace from "Sponca".
