Црквата „Свети Петар“ во Минхен

Минхен, Германија

St. Peter's Church in Munich is the oldest Christian church in the city. In 1181, Otto I Wittelsbach ordered the Romanesque church to be expanded and then consecrated by Bishop Otto von Frising. Then, about 100 years later, the church was destroyed and a new one was built in its place, which suffered greatly in a fire at the beginning of the 14th century. It was renovated, but already in the Gothic style, not in the Romanesque style.

In the 18th century, the church was redesigned in Rococo style. During the Second World War it was heavily destroyed and its restoration lasted until 2000.
