A remarkable and unusual fact is that the castle is still held by the same family today. The current owner is a 20th generation descendant of the founder. In 1467, the castle was taken over and later renovated in a gothic style. The changes were made specifically to protect the lock. In the second half of the 17th century, an extensive baroque reservation was made, the main purpose of the castle was not a protective activity, but rather to provide comfort to its tenants. Since then, stone walls in the Gothic style, which have remained, are only part of the exterior of the castle.
